Jada was found tied up in a field, with no food or water. A police officer went back the next day and arrested the owner and confiscated Jada, as it was 95 degrees and not suitable conditions in which a dog should live. When the officer offered Jada some water, she drank every drop he had with him and then ate a full bowl of food when she got to the shelter.

Despite how she was treated in the past, her best years are ahead of her. This hottie might be missing a leg, but you won't even notice at first- she gets around so smoothly and her coat is just so brilliant, you'll be oohing and awing for a good ten minutes before it hits you that there should be more toes back there.

Around 3 years old, Jada is a huge fan of balls and toys, walks great on a leash, knows her basic commands, is crate trained, potty trained, and absolutely adores all people, kids included. She didn't appear socialized prior to her rescue, but has since learned that other dogs aren't so bad!
