If you like 100+ pound GSDs, Jackson is your dreamboat. Around 2-3 years old, this big boy landed at an overcrowded shelter, full of shepherds, and ran out of time waiting for owners who would never come to redeem him. If you've walked through a shelter lately, the amount of amazing dogs in danger of being put down for space is mind-boggling. Well, thanks to a foster home, we were able to save Jackson who thoroughly enjoyed his freedom ride, which came with some toys.
Jackson loves people, but he *really* loves toys. He is not opposed to working overtime and a toy can be found in his mouth at all times while "working" from home. He's about the size of a baby rhino, but much more friendly (no offense to baby rhinos). Jackson is dog friendly and all about love and sharing space with his canine counterparts, but is learning that some dogs have boundaries and he needs to respect those. He comes from a good place and is getting better with his manners (not everyone wants to make out with him and that's been a little tough to hear, but he's adjusting).
Jackson is good in the house, potty trained, crate trained, and an extra large helping of hubba hubba. He's going to make someone very happy to call him their own!
