Iris

  • Female

Iris was found running on a very busy street. Her rescuer stopped to help her and she happily accepted and jumped into the car. Iris didn’t have any identification (tag or microchip). We posted in search of her owners to no avail. Now Iris is safe and sound in a foster home and ready to find a new family to call her own.

We don’t know much about her past, but it is likely she was left to her own devices in the backyard. As such, she would love to be in a home where she has regular contact with her people. Iris is a gentle girl who loves to be in the house. She figured out the joys of a dog bed and happily plants herself on one and keeps a watchful eye on her foster mom. In the time she’s been in her foster home she quickly picked up the dos and don’ts of housebreaking and is bomb proof!

Iris is gentle with children, she’s good with cats (she’s scared of them), but should be supervised with little dogs. She is a young gal, probably just under a year old.
