Hauser and his five siblings were born to Gretchen and Apollo who are also available for adoption from Coastal GSR. Their owner needed surgery and was not able to care for the litter or their parents afterwards. He asked Coastal GSR for help and we took them in.

There are three boys and three girls. Hauser is the only white puppy in the litter. He is also the biggest male. Hauser seems to be the most insecure pup in the litter and needs to be socialized slowly. He will need an experienced German Shepherd owner who will let him go at his own pace to build up his confidence and gain trust.

Socializing him with other people, taking him to new places, and placing him in new situations is a must to bring out his confidence. He’s a gentle guy, so patience and positive reinforcement will pay off.

Once he’s comfortable, he learns things quickly. He’s begun to sit, come, play with toys, and walk on a leash.
