Grace
- Female
Grace was rescued from a very rural animal shelter after she and her family of pups were abandoned in a vacant home. Animal Control was notified by neighbors that the occupants of the home had left a family of 9 shepherds in the yard, with no one to care for them. Coastal Shepherd Rescue came to the aid of this large family and they are all safe now. Grace has been separated from her puppies as the shelter felt she was too thin to continue nursing. Grace is doing well and is ready to find her forever home. She is under 2 years old and gets along nicely with other friendly dogs. She has a gorgeous black and tan coat and will flourish with love and good nutrition. We are just getting to know Grace and will post more info as we get to know her better.
Update 4/17/05!
We all met Grace for the first time today and she's a real sweetheart! Grace likes to crawl into your lap, and if she can't get in your lap she'll snuggle up against your leg. Her coloring is a gorgeous white/silver and black, with a little gold on her face. Grace went to her foster home today and she's great with other dogs and quiet and polite around the house. How anyone could abandon a girl like Grace is impossible to understand!
