Gina
- Female
Gina is not a puppy, but she is an agile, active adult lady. Her foster mom's guess would be between 5 and 7 years old. Gina's foster mom is kind of attached to her, which accounts for Gina's longevity with Coastal ... and means she's going to make a wonderful pet for a loving family.
Gina has a healthy appetite; in fact, she should be wearing a sign that says "Will sit for food!!!" Her obedience skills have become somewhat more polished (however she may just be choosing to ignore us) but if food is dangled, she will plant her rear in an instant. She also likes to pretend that she is bouncing on a trampoline because she will leap up and down when she wants something - we're thinking she comes 4' up in the air with no effort! She also likes to alert the neighborhood when a helicopter flies over - she barks and twirls in her sincere imitation until it is gone!
Gina's boyfriend is a submissive young male shepherd mix - she will pester him from a dead sleep to go roll from one end of the yard to another - they can play for hours. She doesn't have the same opinion of female dogs but she will tolerate laid back girls, just not the bossy ones. Now if Gina sees a leash, she will grab it like a Lab and prance off with it. She also gets a bit of a kick out of chasing balls - she just won't bring them back! She is truly a delightful girl. Gina loves a good daily walk even with a little hitch in her giddyup, but it doesn't bother her in the least! Gina truly deserves to live out her days as a cherished pet.
