Gertie is a spunky young girl eager to please. She is a coated German Shepherd with a beautiful coat and stunning yellow eyes. She is still very much an energetic pup and enjoys playing with her ball and a peanut butter filled kong. She has some understanding of basic commands but as she is young, she has a tendency to mouth handle but is quickly corrected.

Gertie is a very smart dog and will do best in a home with consistency. She is quick to learn boundaries and commands, and she is eager to please. she is housebroken and crate trained.

Gertie would be a perfect match for an active family and would be an ideal running or hiking partner. She enjoys the dog park and is good with other dogs. She would enjoy a dog buddy that is well rounded and likes to play.

Gertie is NOT good with cats.
