Frankie, mixed with a bit of something else, came to us absolutely frozen in fear. Her caretakers were very worried about her and took extra time to give her attention and confidence. Within days, Frankie came around. This is what we love about shepherds and shepherd mixes! Once they understand that no one is going to hurt them, they are so intelligent and sensitive that they recognize they are in a "good place". Frankie has demonstrated this to her caretakers and now they just call her "fun."
