Evie is a Dutch Shepherd/Australian Cattle dog mix and is from a litter of six puppies. She is 8 months old and fully vaccinated. Her mom is an AKC registered Dutch Shepherd.

Evie lives in a household with multiple dogs and there have been some issues with dominance and position in the pack. Evie seems to have been designated as low dog on the totem pole by the other dogs and that is causing her stress and anxiety. Evie needs to go to a new home where she is the only dog right now. With time and training, she may be able to live with other dogs but now she needs room to relax and just be loved. Because of her general frustration with her current situation, we recommend that Evie not go to a home with cats. Evie has not been crate trained but she has some basic leash skills. She has not been around children so we don't know how she would be with young children.

Evie is bright, energetic, and loves the water. She is sweet, cuddly, and loves to give kisses. Evie loves to play with her toys, run around, and fetch her frisbee. She would be happy to have a yard to run around in and someone to play with her. Evie shows a lot of promise and will grow up to be a great dog with some additional obedience training, lots of exercising and playing, and more socializing.
