Etta was rescued from a high kill shelter with a collar so deeply embedded in her neck that it had to be surgically removed. It's hard for us to imagine how someone could get a young pup and never adjust the collar as the dog grows up.

None of that matters anymore. She is super sweet and her past is behind her. We will make certain to find Etta a loving home that will give her the love and attention she deserves.

We're still getting to know her, but she appears to be very friendly with all animals and people!
