Sweet as sugar, soft as cotton and a tail that doesn't stop wagging, life for Estrella  is one big happy adventure and she is looking for a family to share it with.  If you are looking for a happy, friendly girl who loves to talk to you, her toys and her animal friends, look no further.  

This precious 6 month old pup came to us as an 8 - 10 week old with two broken back legs.  The ball  of her right hip was broken off and her left femur and tibia were were fractured at her knee.  She had both surgically repaired.  Her right hip had an FHO and her left leg was pinned back together.  She has healed well, but due to breaking the growth plates in both her tibia and femur, her leg has grown a bit unevenly.  While her leg moves a bit weird, it doesn't bother her or slow her down in the least.  She loves to run and play and is really quite fast.  

Estrella is a happy pup and loves to talk.  She has quite a range of vocalizations and has provided endless hours of entertainment to her foster mom and foster "siblings".  She has really blossomed from the sad little girl we pulled from the shelter.  It is hard to be in a bad mood when she is around as she is so full of life.  Once you meet her she will win you over with her charm.

Estrella is crate trained, pen trained, potty trained and knows how to use a dog door.  She is very smart and ready to be adopted.  She is a confident and friendly girl.  She loves people and all other animals.  While she loves to run and play she is also very happy to hang out where ever her people are.  Estrella looks like a mini White German Shepherd, has a Labrador tail and talks like a Husky.  She should grow to be around 45 - 50 lbs as an adult at the most.  She will make a wonderful addition to an active family who is looking to add a ray of sunshine to their family.
