Ella
- Female
How did she know they are just about my favorite thing to eat? I was quite terrified of all the noises at the shelter and even though there aren't as many here, I think I would prefer a nice, quiet home where my family will give me the love and attention I deserve.
The nice lady came to feed me my favorite meal - ham and cheese, in case you forgot - and did an amazing thing. She took me home! Boy, was I glad to get out of that noisy kennel. I met a strange small person that the lady told me was her daughter, whatever that is. Then I met my new foster brother and sister. I like them and want to play with them, but they said they're too old and for that. Geez! I'm not nearly as scared here as I was at the kennel, and in fact, my foster mom is already telling me what a good girl I am. I showed everyone that I know how to use a doggie door, and to sit, stay, and come on command!
Update November 14:
Ella has really come out of her "shell" She has blossomed in her foster home. She is a playful, affectionate dog. She loves playing tug-of-war and chase with her foster sister. Ella is also quite enamored of her two-legged foster sister and would do well in a home with older children. She can be a litttle scared in new situations, and would do best with a family who would be willing to work with her in gaining confidence. Ella is potty-trained and has basic obedience.
I am really grateful for everyone here at Coastal GSR, but I would really love to have a home of my own. Would you be my new family?
