When Duke arrived at his foster home, it was clear that he was never socialized and was an outside only dog. Despite all that, he was very sweet and really wanted a human's affection. In less then a week, he was a completely different dog! He loves, loves, loves to play with the two German Shepherds in the home. He will lay in your lap and cuddle if you're sitting. If he's on the bed with you, he will cuddle up and sleep in your arms like a baby. He is great with kids as well! He's still a little timid, but curious.

Duke is kind and loving and would be great in a home with children and/or other dogs. His fosters have been working on socializing him and he is adapting very well. He was not previously potty trained but is smart and picks things up quickly. Currently, due to his age, he is teething and can be destructive with things if you don’t correct it. Also lots of activity will help by tiring him out. He is timid and submissive but has a fun personality.

He's a great dog and will make someone very happy.
