We were contacted by a shelter about Doug, who just turned 3 years old: his mother had been in a car accident and, sadly, did not survive. She left behind two dogs, one of whom was Doug. When first rescued, he was very scared and unsure of his surroundings (understandably), but he has opened up to us now and shown himself to be an absolute sweetheart. He's a cuddler and loves affection, is good with other large dogs, and is a gentle soul. His whole world was turned upside down, but we've promised to find him a new family who will love him and give him all of the affection he craves.
