Dillon

  • Female

In early June, we were contacted by a shelter about four tiny pups that had been abandoned in a schoolyard. We swung into action and got all four into a foster home. Almost immediately, all four were diagnosed with parvo and hospitalized. Luckily, early aggressive treatment prevailed and all four were released from the hospital within four days. These little guys got a second blow when a few days later, two of the four came down with pneumonia. Drew and Dillon were hospitalized for observation but were released within two days with no symptoms. Their brother and sister are out of the hospital now but still under the weather although we expect a full recover for Sonny and Sammy as well!!!

Dillon is the largest and strongest of the quartet. He is very smart and knows what he wants and how to ask for it. He was the first one to pick up on the potty training technique that we began a few weeks back. He will potty on command and follow you when you call him. He loves his people and will sit back and wait patiently for attention when his brother is crowding in on you (but don't worry he will ask for your attention to let you know he needs some too). He is crate trained and housebroken. His favorite hobbies are dog wrestling (with his brother), playing with squeaky toys, and taking adventure walks/runs through the bushes in the yard.
