Diesel was lucky enough to score a great foster home and is loving life! They’ve crate trained him, which resulted in him being potty trained, he’s been good in the house, and is enjoying all of the toys and balls they’ve given to him. He loves to follow his foster dad everywhere he goes and can be protective of the home, but he’s in good hands and is learning what’s allowed and what’s not OK.

Diesel was a little scared when first rescued and can be anxious in some situations, but he's also quite the charmer and has done well meeting new people. Do you have a ball? Well then, he's also your best friend! This handsome boy is around 2 years old, knows his basic commands and is trying to implement them in daily living, and really (REALLY) loves balls. He will fetch them for hours and doesn't mind holding them for you (in his mouth, of course) while you take a phone call here or there. He takes treats gently and, even though he doesn't seem to have been highly socialized with dogs prior to his rescue, we're working with him on that and he's good about being around dogs while on a leash and likes to make out with some dogs through the fence.

Diesel is in great shape and can jump chest high from a stand. He had jumped a 4’ baby gate in his foster home, but his fosters are working with him on boundaries. He is going to need a secure yard as we have no doubt he could jump a 5’ wall or fence.
