Just beyond puppyhood, this boy stood nary a chance of rescue but we believed that our supporters would come through and we agreed to take him on. Named Dickens and this year's first Coastal Christmas miracle, he has a delightful and sweet personality, is so young and beautiful - we are thankful for the opportunity to give him a chance at a new life. Sadly, after consulting with our medical experts, his leg has too much nerve damage to save it so he will soon be a tripawd.

The good news! We have a big big soft spot for tripaws! We've saved many and they have gone on to live healthy normal lives. Dickens now has that chance!
