Dexter didn't lead a cushy life before finding Coastal. We don't know exactly what he's been through, but we do know that he's a sweet boy who has learned to trust again. After a short while in your company, he starts to open up and relax, flashing his million dollar smile and leaning against your side. There's nothing this handsome boy loves more than to roll around in the grass, only stopping to nudge you for belly rubs.

We think Dexter would be happiest as an only dog for now, but we will see if he can be socialized as he spends more time with us and his trainers.
