DeeDee
- Female
This is DeeDee's photo from the shelter. Luckily we now have her in our care, safe and cozy in the home of one of our volunteers. She has over 50 staples across her neck and torso. She will need several visits to check her wounds and make sure she is healing well. She is a very strong and brave little 4 month old who struggled to survive and only deserves the best now.
Update 12/30/05:
DeeDee is the ultimate puppy! She is housebroken, sleeps quietly on her bed and has perfect house manners, yet she is also a playful baby ready to learn everything. DeeDee is lucky to be alive and we are so glad that she is. She has healed perfectly and her hair is growing back nicely. DeeDee loves other dogs, cats and kids. It is hard to say what her mix is...she has a gorgeous sable coat with hound or mountain dog ears! It looks like she will be a big girl, but it is difficult to know. DeeDee is currently in a foster home where she spends her days lounging with the big dogs, playing rough games of tug with her shepherd sister, gnawing on Kong toys (her favorite) and eating! Did we mention that DeeDee loves to eat? She is on a natural diet and loving it!! DeeDee is ready to move into permanent digs of her own. She will make a wonderful addition for a family with children and dogs.
