Mom "Liberty" was found on the 4th of July in a backyard after fireworks were over. Liberty was pregnant and very scared. She gave birth to her puppies 12 days later. Dakota is one of her puppies.

Liberty is a German Shepherd and dad was obviously an Australian Shepherd. The seven pups in the litter look either like mom or dad. They have been socialized around children and other dogs. They will be 2 months old on September 10th and will be able to go home with adopters after that.
