Chief is a mellow, confident dog and very easy to take care of. He is housebroken and will let you know when he wants to go out. He is great being alone in the house and quiet. He sleeps through the night and loves to lay on his doggy bed. Chief enjoys playing with toys, chase tennis balls, and romp around in the grass. He would be great with a family that has older children. He may not tolerate younger children poking or falling over him. He's had surgery in one hip and will not need surgery on the other one fortunately. He would be ok as an only dog or with a quiet submissive female, other dogs might to hyper towards him. He is very loyal to his people and takes direction well. He is great when guests come to house and welcomes them with a tail wag. He walks well on a leash and enjoys his daily walks in the park. Overall Chief is a happy guy that loves to be petted and wants to bury his head in your lap to make sure he is getting loved to the fullest extent.
