Chevy came to us on his very last day at a municipal shelter. We were alerted to him when we checked in on a different dog that we had been watching. We didn't even know Chevy was there or on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, we were able to send a volunteer to meet Chevy and we committed to saving him! Chevy is now in boarding and we are getting to know him. He is a lovely boy who appears to be house trained and he truly wants to bond with someone. He is likely a dog who became lost and his family never found him. Chevy has been seen sticking his paw through the kennel doors to reach out to volunteers and kennel staff as they walk by.
