Dear Chester's Future Adopters,
We wanted to let you know how he's doing while he waits for you to find him. He’s been getting a lot of training time, has mastered place, sit, down, stay and heels like a champ. During his last training session, he got jiggy with it and learned “roll over†and is working on “stick ‘em up.†Chester still thinks he should be a lap dog, but we’re letting him know that most humans aren’t 9’ tall and don’t typically come with laps the size of bathtubs. We’re socializing him and getting him out for fun, walks and group classes. He’s become very attached to one man, in particular, who is 6’ plus and has a lap the size of a stall shower. I’m not saying it’s the lap that’s the draw, but Chester definitely has no issues with people of any kind and is a fun loving, carefree, goofy, affectionate kind of boy who also gets along with dogs of all sizes. Everyone here loves him, but also hopes you find him soon: he’s going to make the best canine companion you’ve ever had and we can’t wait for his great life with a forever family to start.
Love,
All of the Coastal GSR volunteers
P.S. This cutie has never met anyone he didn't immediately want to play with and love on, covering you in kisses and leaning against your side. Chester rides well in the car, is potty trained, does fantastic at adoption events, loves all people, kids included, but can be a bit jumpy and would do best with older children (as he doesn’t know his own size).
