Charlie
- Female
Charlie is our mini-shepherd! Just about 12 months old, Charlie is done growing and is on the small side at about 40-45 lbs. Charlie will look like a puppy his whole life! He's sweet and cute and happy and starts giving kisses when he's still two feet away. What Charlie lacks in size he more than makes up for with kisses! He's a bit shy as he doesn't seem to have had much company in the
last several months, we think he spent a lot of time alone. Charlie is high energy and would love to have a dog playmate to help burn his puppy chow. Despite Charlie's premonition, he did live through his bath! He stood still with his face all puckered up, but was very proud of his clean new coat!
Charlie is looking for a family with another dog for company and a lot of activity. He's a good boy, good with children, and will make a
wonderful family member. Charlie appears to be housebroken, and he sleeps through the night on his doggie bed. He spends the day with yard access and playing with his foster brother. The landscaping stays in place, but nearly every toy has seen some attention from Charlie! Charlie is crate trained and stays quietly until you let him out. Young dogs always need obedience training and a lot of attention, direction and structure. Charlie does pick up and carry off a shoe once in a while, and gets a blank look on his face when asked to sit for his cookie. That said, sweet Charlie will make a wonderful addition to any family with time and love to give!
