Meet Charlie! This handsome gentleman, around 2 years old, was picked up as a stray and found himself at a busy Central California shelter packed with other GSDs. While waiting for his owners to come get him, Charlie enjoyed playing in the yard with other large dogs, but no one came for him and his time was running out. We don't know how a dog as cool as Charlie wasn't chipped, wasn't neutered, and had no collar with ID, but when he was in danger of being euthanized we asked him to join the Coastal family.

Right now, Charlie is around 60 pounds. He's a drop dead gorgeous GSD with piercing eyes and is a great size for someone who doesn't want a 110 pound dog. We don't know if he's ever met small dogs, but he's enjoyed roughhousing with other large dogs, chasing down toys, and has loved every person he's met. He's a young boy and can be jumpy, so would do best in a home with older children.
