Cassi is a female shepherd mix, about 4 yrs old, and weighs approximately 65 lbs.

She was initially adopted from a Los Angeles city shelter when she was 4 months old. We think that she had lived her early life in a cage because she really dislikes being crated or caged and had to learn how to play with other dogs once we got her.

Cassi is a gorgeous dog, full of love and affection. She enjoys nothing more than being pet and just being near her people. She loves going for walks and car rides and has enjoyed dog parks and the dog beach. She is fine with other dogs but prefers human companionship and would likely prefer to be an only dog. She gets along well with kids, but because she tends to mouth when playing and very excited, she would be best in a household with teenagers or adults only.

Cassi is healthy, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. She is fully housetrained and is not destructive indoors. She enjoys being outdoors but prefers to be close to her family. She obeys basic commands, does well on a lead, and usually barks only with good cause. She responds and comes when her name is called so don't worry about her running away.

We are looking for a forever home for Cassi where she can get the exercise and attention she needs and deserves. She is truly an affectionate dog with so much love to give to the right family.
