We found Brandy languishing in a high-kill animal shelter with almost no hope of coming out alive if we hadn't taken her. Although at probably 8 years old, Brandy has plenty of life and love left to give. She can jump, unaided and very eagerly, into the back of a large SUV - something some dogs half her age can't do.

Brandy is now living in a foster home FILLED with other German Shepherds and she fits in very easily. She even likes 11 week old puppies who like to crawl on her back. Brandy has shown a talent for counter surfing so even though she's a bit low in her hocks, she is strong as an ox with all her faculties. Brandy has several years left on this planet and we are praying for someone to take her in as their own so that she can live the second half of her life as a pampered queen.
