Bodie came to us with a horrible laceration on his inner thigh. He was found running down a street with the tear partially stitched and drains inserted. Once we had him in his care, we had the tear restitched - because it was deep, infected and in a bad place, he has had to endure a total of six operations. At long last, all that is left is a scar which will be covered once the hair grows back.

Bodie is living in a house full of dogs and tolerates them to a point. If he doesn't like something, the other dogs know it. He corrects very easily with human intervention - our experience tells us that Bodie would do best with a mellow gal pal or as an only dog, as long as he continues to be socialized with other dogs regularly.

Bodie got to go to Dog Beach recently and was perfectly behaved, never leaving his foster mom's side. We were comfortable enough with him to let him off leash for a bit and he never ventured far.

This beautiful guy will be even more stunning once he gains much needed weight.
