Blossom

  • Female
  • 1-2 years
  • German Shepherd Dog

Blossom was pregnant when she was left in the night drop box of an Inland Empire shelter. She gave birth to nine puppies the next day. Blossom and her babies (the "B" litter) went to a foster home where she took excellent care of her 5 boys and 4 girls. Her puppies have been weaned and are ready to be adopted. Now that her job is done, Blossom is ready to go to her forever home.

Blossom is good with other dogs and currently lives with three older dogs, including a small dog. She gets along with all dogs, even when she was with her babies. She allowed the neighborhood children to handle and play with her puppies.

Blossom is living with a cat. She is interested in it but leaves it alone. The cat stands it ground and doesn't run from her. She is shy with new people and stays away from young children. She is fine with older children. She knows several commands including sit, down, come, off, and NO. She loves her morning treats and is very good about waiting her turn with the other dogs.

Blossom loves attention and would be fine in a home with another dog and older children. She has done a good job of being a mom and now deserves some rest, relaxation and time for herself.
