Bandit

  • Female

Coastal German Shepherd Rescue received a frantic email regarding a darling shepherd boy who was in a Los Angeles shelter with very little hope of getting out alive. When we saw his picture and heard about his wonderful personality, we knew we had to help him! Bandit is now safe and searching for a loving home. Bandit loves children and gets along nicely with other dogs. He is approximately 18 months old. He has an adorable black and red brindle coat and will make a fantastic family member!

Update 4/20/05

Our boy Bandit has "stolen" our hearts! :) He's a very tall guy, between 12 and 18 mos old and once he fills out and muscles up, he will be a brawny fella. Bandit is probably a cross between a Belgian Malinois and something else (maybe Mastiff?). He has a very gentle, calm demeanor . . . a typical "gentle giant."

He has spent some time playing with children and we think that he will make a wonderful family dog. We do know that he has very nice car manners - he settles right down and watches everything out the back window. With a bit of prompting, he will sit for you. As big as he is, he is pretty easy to walk on a leash, although he (and his new family) will certainly benefit from an obedience course.

Bandit is a sweetie who likes other dogs and will fit easily into an active family.
