Bambi - also known as Bam-bam - is a four and a half month old German Shepherd puppy. She was rescued from a backyard breeder when she was 8 weeks old. Her rescuer was not able to keep her due to illness and asked Coastal GSR to find this precious baby a good home. Bambi is currently in a foster home where she shares the house with a one year old male GSD, a five year old female GSD plus two small dogs. She is a little shy at first around people and other dogs but quickly warms up to them. She rides well in a car and knows some basic commands. Bambi currently weighs 45 pounds and has huge paws. Her ears are just starting to stay up. She will grow up to be a big beautiful German Shepherd.

It is recommended that Bambi go to a home that has a raised a German Shepherd puppy before. Another dog in the house would be good - it would help Bambi learn good habits - but that isn't necessary.

Because Bambi is a purebred German Shepherd, her adoption fee is $500.
