Autumn

  • Female
  • 7-9 months
  • German Shepherd Dog

Autumn was picked up as a stray by animal control and her condition was shocking. Aside from a severe case of mange, it was noted that she'd been hit by a car. We rescued her and she went straight to our vet team, where she received medicated baths, antibiotics, treatment for mites, several meals a day, and finally people who care for her. X-rays showed no orthopedic issues and we are confident that nutrition and exercise will help to heal her ligaments and make her stronger.

This puppy of only 7 months spent months at the hospital to recover from the mange, the secondary bacterial infections, and her emaciated state. She has made a miraculous recovery, but still needs weekly medicated baths. She is a playful puppy who adores rolling around with other dogs, large or small, and is working on her house manners.
