Astro is an absolute and total sweetheart of a boy who gets along with dogs of all sizes and is great with children. He walks famously on a leash, is potty and crate trained, extremely obedient, knows his basic commands, is super affectionate, a world class cuddler, and fancies himself a lap dog. Sadly, his prior owners turned him in to the shelter because he had diarrhea. We've had him see a couple of our fantastic vets and he is on now the mend.

He has something called "Perianal Fistulas," which is really common in GSDs. With the proper medication and diet, it can be managed very easily (we've had tons of dogs with this condition and they have all managed just fine). He will need an owner who is committed to monitoring his health and, in return, he will shower you with lots of love!
