Ash
- Female
Ash was rescued from a county animal shelter when they became extremely full during the So Cal Wildfires. She was originally picked up as a stray by a very king hearted animal control officer. This officer (who has helped us save many dogs in the past) went out to a field day after day to try and earn the trust of a very frightened and scared shepherd.
After three weeks of trying to help this girl, the animal control officer had almost given up. She had brought food and water to her----even a dogloo for some shelter. The next time she went out to try and bring her in she was pleasantly shocked at what she saw........The formerly timid and frightened shepherd, was laying on her back being petted by 4 neighborhood children. Apparently the kids were walking through the field, and once she saw them she ran straight towards them and wanted to get some love! Needless to say, this girl loves kids!
Ash is probably under 2 and emaciated. Being on her own for a month definitely took its toll on her. Her foster family is putting some much needed weight on her and getting her ready for a forever home. Whoever adopts this girl will be very lucky to have her in their life---as she is extremely sweet and loving
