Ares is a handsome Shepherd Husky mix. He has hazel eyes and gorgeous liver and tan fur. This boy is just as sweet as he is good looking. He is a social butterfly with people and other dogs. This awesome pup was surrendered to a shelter because he had a badly broken leg and his family couldn't afford to have it fixed.

We rescued Ares from the shelter and took him straight to our orthopedic surgeon. His femur was repaired and he has been healing in his foster home for the past two months. He has been on strict crate rest and has been a model patient. He is content to hang out and play with his toys in his crate. He walks nicely on a leash for his potty breaks and short walks. We are hoping his next appointment this week will allow him to go back to normal exercise.

Ares is very well mannered and has an easy going nature. He is very smart and listens very well for a baby dog. Like most puppies he is active and will need training and exercise, but he is off to a great start so far. If you are looking for an awesome pup to add to your pack, Ares is your guy.
