Sometimes dogs don't fall into your lap and beg for pets. Sometimes they are timid around strangers and take a little time to trust. Apple is one of those dogs.

This beauty was picked up by Animal Control after being hit by a car. She had pelvic subluxation and separation, as well as multiple wing fractures. After months of hospitalization and healing, this beauty entered training boot camp, as she was very fearful of people (understandably so) and needed help in order to trust again. Apple is a gorgeous girl, around 2 years old, who is now healed, healthy, and a graduate of boot camp!

While she can be timid around new people, she warms up to you given some time and structure, is potty trained, and knows her basic commands. Kids would be too overwhelming for her, so Apple is looking for a family with no young children and GSD experience.
