Apollo

  • Female

Apollo came to Coastal through a good samaritan. Apollo and a companion dog jumped into the backyard during the night trying to escape a chasing coyote. When the gentleman scared the coyote away, Apollo jumped out of the yard (it was only a 4 ft. fence). However, his small companion couldn't get out. In the morning Apollo and his companion were found sleeping together in the yard. They stayed at this house for almost a week - Apollo never jumped the fence again. Apollo appears to be about 3-4 years old, and gets along with everyone - big dogs, small dogs, and kids.

The small companion dog has found his forever home. Can Apollo find his with you?

Update on Apollo:

Apollo is a very well mannered dog and very patient to boot. Little Bridget who is a clown and a half, decided to come under Apollo’s legs to hang out, and sure enough he stood there the entire time with her under his belly, and patiently waited until Bridge was done with her little show.

Apollo rides very well in a car, his best buddies are Bridgett and Baron. He thinks he is about 10 pounds and that he is a lap dog, although in Apollo’s case, he doesn’t really care where you are, he will sit on your foot, on your knee or on your belly if you let him. He will do it in the parking lot, on any park, in the back of your SUV, you name the place he’ll be there sitting on you!

If you are looking for a sweet, patient and well mannered boy, Apollo is it!
