Sometimes we get painfully sad calls that are hard to digest- calls that rock us to the core. Before they finish telling the story, we already know that we have to help.

We received such a call about Apollo. A woman had passed away in her home, which she shared with her dog, Apollo. For two days he never left her side, hoping she would wake up. His mom had rescued him from a county shelter and he wasn't going to leave her, no matter what. When the police came, he was taken to the shelter, tail tucked between his legs, confused and scared. We rescued Apollo and he's now looking for a family that will show him love and understanding.

Around 3 years old, this gorgeous boy is young, 100% potty trained and good with children. Apollo needs a strong and confident leader, so he can relax and just enjoy being a dog. He promises to thank you with his huge pittie smile and tons of kisses!
