Andrew

  • German Shepherd Dog

Andrew is one of nine puppies born to a Belgian Malinois mother and a German Shepherd mix father. The mother gave birth to her puppies under an old RV right before a snow storm. A good hearted Samaritan rescued mom and pups and took them home. The puppies' mom is still in Anza with her rescuer. The rescuer asked Coastal German Shepherd to help place the puppies and find them good homes. We were happy to help.

Most of the puppies, including Andrew, look like dark colored Malinois like their mom. Andrew is a working dog in training. Though he looks like a Mal, he is very "shepherdy". Andrew is polite and correct and is standing by ready to serve! He could possibly be a service dog if properly evaluated and trained.

Andrew is very smart and trainable. He, like his other siblings, will require socialization and training to help him be the most awesome dog he can be. We recommend that you do some research about Belgian Malinois and GSD before applying to adopt Andrew.
