Well, hello! My name is Andi and I am a 1½ year old German Shepherd/Husky beauty!! I’m not exactly sure how I got separated from my original family, but luckily one day, while I was wandering the streets all alone, hungry and scared, a wonderful family found me and tried to find my people. However, without a microchip and no one responding to the found signs posted in the vicinity, they decided to take me into their pack to help me find my new forever family!

It is very important for you to understand that I need to be with a family with strong Husky experience, as we can be quite the handful in the wrong hands! My new forever family will need to have Huskies or Shepherds in the home. There are two things I absolutely love to do – RUN, are you an avid runner as well...and swim, do you have a pool I can swim laps for hours in? I ask that you have walls over 6’ in height. You wouldn’t want me to jump out of your yard now would you?

My pack leader (they call her my foster mom) has been teaching me so very much about my place in the pack. I am extremely smart and am quickly learning right from wrong. Rumor has it that Coastal GSR is going to expect my forever family to continue my training with the best of trainers here in sunny Southern California. I am an extremely submissive gal and my best friends are the cats and other dogs in the house! It seems to be much easier for me to relate to my animal companions as it takes me some time to want to trust and bond with humans. I want to prepare you though... once I decide you are my friend and leader, I have tons of cuddles and kisses waiting for you!

Remember, my name is Andi and if you have the perfect home for my needs I can’t wait to hear from you! Please complete an adoption application on the rescue’s website.
