At five months old, Adele came to our rescue requiring surgery for a congenital heart problem. The surgery was successful and you would never believe that she had anything wrong with her, although it stunted her growth and she will remain much smaller than other dogs of the same mix. This cutie only weighs around 40 pounds.

Adele is all healed, full of energy, and no longer needs medication. She is very dog friendly and lived with four female German Shepherd Dogs. She was very shy around strangers, but she went through boot camp and is now much better about meeting new people and obedience trained, to boot.
