Addison

  • Female
  • 1-2 years
  • German Shepherd Dog

Addison was picked up as a stray by animal control and it appeared she'd been hit by a car. Her back leg wasn't weight bearing and she was in bad shape, so the shelter needed immediate rescue for her. We pulled her and immediately sent her to our vet.

Months later, she's recovered from the surgery, healed nicely, and is ready for a family of her own! This big beauty is crate trained, potty trained, good in the house, loves people, is good with children, gets along with other dogs (she requires a proper introduction to new dogs- she doesn't read other dog's body language very well), and absolutely adores playing with her canine foster sister.

Addison deals with some minor issues related to her pre-rescue injuries, which had her on limited activity for a long period of time, and that will most likely limit her ability to train for marathons. She does, however, love to walk around the park and is now learning better leash skills. If you’re looking for a huge snugly lap dog who would be content being your “ride or die” as you binge watch your favorite shows, then she’s your gal!
