Abigail's family left her at the shelter because they were moving. At one point, they got at least one litter of puppies from her. When we met her at the shelter, she was laying quietly on her dog bed at the back. Once we called to her, she politely walked to the front of her cage to greet us. Abigail is a genteel lady who would like nothing more than to spend time with her human family.
