Aurora has been adopted! 07-28-2019
Aurora was the mother of our "A" litter (she's Astrid's mom). Only around a year old herself, she was turned in to a shelter with her 7 puppies and needed a rescue who could give her somewhere safe to raise them. She scored a great foster home and, once her puppies were weaned and ready to go off to families of their own, it was her turn!
This beauty can be shy around new people and in new situations, but has completely opened up to the volunteers she knows. She's beyond sweet, ridiculously easy on a leash, good around other large dogs, doesn't react to small dogs while on leash, basic obedience trained, and ready to become part of a family who will love and cherish her forever.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
