Meet Belladonna — a stunning Belgian Malinois beauty with brains, athleticism, and personality to spare. At 2–4 years old, this smart girl is the total package: affectionate, playful, fiercely intelligent, and always ready for action. Whether she’s chasing a ball, showing off her zoomies, or learning something new for treats, Belladonna brings enthusiasm to everything she does.

Like a true Malinois, Belladonna is highly energetic with a strong prey drive, so lizards and birds keep her attention on walks! She already knows her basic commands — sit, down-stay, and come — and she’s crate trained, sleeping quietly through the night like a pro. It’s not known yet how Belladonna interacts with other dogs, cats or children.

Belladonna’s story could have ended differently. Surrendered by her family during a move, she landed in a high-kill shelter in Downey and was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a dedicated rescuer stepped in with the support of Coastal German Shepherd Rescue to give this incredible girl the second chance she deserved.

Belladonna is looking for an active, experienced home that understands the Malinois breed and can keep both her body and brilliant mind engaged. Agility, hiking, advanced training, sporting activities — she’s ready for it all. In return, she’ll give her person unwavering loyalty, endless fun, and a bond like no other.
