Naddell has been adopted! 01-21-2025

Female German Shepherd Dog about 4-6 months old. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Naddell is a wonderful pup. We wonder how such a sweet pup found herself being sold by someone in front of a Walmart for food stamps or cash. We also wonder why and how her original owner acquired her.

It's clear that Naddell had very limited experiences outside in the real world. At five months old she saw her first butterfly, her first airplane, and first bird. All new experiences for her from her foster family's backyard. And she's loving all of it.

Naddell is in a foster home along with two big alpha male GSDs and Günther the Tripod (also on our website) who is showing her the world. Naddell is cat friendly, house broken, loves her daily routine, eats like a horse, and is becoming more confident every day. She and Gunther love to play and sometimes the two of them get into some mischief. Naddell is very smart.

Naddell requires a home filled with love and a family that is willing to take the time to let her experience things at her own pace. Another friendly dog in the home will help her settle in comfortably but it is not a requirement. An experienced owner who has or had a GSD in the past is a plus.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
