Venus has been adopted! 11-30--0001
Meet Venus! She is one of a litter of 12 puppies that were found in a field in the city of Perris. There were several stray dogs in the area but no obvious mom dog. The puppies were rescued by Good Samaritans who took them in, cleaned and fed them, and did their best to find good homes for them. They were able to place some of the puppies before asking Coastal GSR for help finding homes for the rest. Coastal took 5 of the 12.
We had this adorable litter DNA tested so that we could know for sure what breeds they are! The results are: Doberman, Husky, German Shepherd and a small amount of Chow Chow. They are smart puppies that don't seem to be phased at all by their rough start. The puppies are 5 going on 6 months old and are housebroken, can use a dog door, and they are sleeping in a crate.
Venus is curious, playful, and adventurous. She is slightly more independent than her siblings but enjoys playing with all of them. The more people Venus meets, the more she likes them. She would love to be spoiled. Venus would be fine alone or would fit into a home that has another dog.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
