Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Avery has been adopted! 03-21-2024

Female German Shepherd Dog about 10-12 months old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs.

Avery was brought to our attention at just the right time! We didn’t know about her plight and by the time we were alerted, she had been at the shelter for 6 weeks - which is really unheard of in an impacted city shelter. When we went to meet her, she greeted us with smiles and wags and playfully wrestled with her kennel mate. We made arrangements to immediately bring her in to the Coastal life boat. To make the day even better, we were able to get her kennel mate rescued by Labs & Friends!
Avery seems to be about a year old. She was originally confiscated by animal control from her owner’s property. We don’t know what the situation was but we are thankful she is no longer in harm’s way. We are committed to finding Avery the best forever home!
Please fill out our adoption application if Avery is what you are looking for in your next furry family member!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
