Chloe has been adopted! 06-01-2024

Female German Shepherd Dog about 3-5 years old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs.

Chloe was picked up as a stray with a male German Shepherd buddy. The good news was that they had owner identification. The shelter thought for sure that the owner would come and claim their family members. Sadly, they did not. After their stray hold was up, the male GSD was adopted without Chloe. Chloe sat -sad and confused as to why she was left behind. We understand that adopting a pair is a lot for most people but we hate to see bonded pairs torn apart. Chloe’s time soon was up at the shelter and she needed a safe passage out of the county shelter. Coastal took her under their wings and rescued her. She is currently in boarding getting loved on by our volunteers. She would love nothing more than to have a home of her own, possibly with another buddy to replace what she lost. Chloe is calm and stoic- a lovely girl who enjoys walks and spending time with people. She appears to be house broken and has very good manners.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
