Dolly has been adopted! 05-29-2024
Dolly was pregnant when she was dropped off at the Moreno Valley Shelter and is the mother of the D litter puppies, all of whom were born at the shelter on 12/2/23. Fortunately, after giving birth, we were able to rescue this family; she and her puppies landed in a fantastic foster home where they would all receive great care.
Dolly did a great job of raising her puppies, all of whom have been adopted, and now this sweet mom is looking for a forever family of her own. Dolly received little to no social experience prior to coming to Coastal, but, thanks to her fosters, has come a long way. Her ideal home would be with a family who has a large male dog, although she wouldn’t mind being the only dog, either. This beauty has also met cats and we’d describe her as cat tolerant- she’s not racing to get tattoos of neighborhood cats, but she’s also not figuring out how to trap and release them… in Idaho.
Dolly can’t wait to find the family who will love her forever. She’s currently attending training classes at Falco Dog Training OC and hopes to graduate as valedictorian!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
